As promised, there have been some big changes around these parts. You can’t see them here because you are still at the old site. Hang here for one minute more while I tie up the last loose ends of this makeover.
First of all, thanks for taking my survey. As far as the content and structure of the blog, it sounds like I should keep doing what I’m doing. Good to know!
At the new blog, I’ve overhauled the the Pantry’s appearance, cleaned out the cobwebs, and updated some outdated content (check out my new About page!). However, let me know if you find any glitches as you poke around. I’ve also started a facebook page so I can share more pictures and foodie articles (I’d be much obliged if you liked me there and shared it with your friends).
To find the new blog, you shouldn’t have to do anything differently. It still lives at thepracticalpantry.com and I will keep posting to facebook and twitter.
However, if you follow my blog by email (or want to), you do need to go through one quick step to keep getting updates. Since I cannot automatically bring you with me to my new blog, you need to go to the new site and follow me there.
You will notice that the old site now lives at thepracticalpantry.wordpress.com, so first you must go to thepracticalpantry.com. The follow button is at the very bottom. After you click it, you will be able to edit your preferences, including the format of the emails you receive. Make sure that you select the categories of content you want to see. If you absolutely hate when I write about gardening, you don’t have to receive any of those posts, but if you want to see them all, click ‘select all’ under Subscribed Categories.
I hope you’ll stick with me for 2013. I think it’s going to be a great year! There will be chickens, fresh baked bread, maybe even a few videos, and a weeknight dinner flowchart for what to make when your brain is fried and the fridge is empty.
See you soon!
If you’ve made it this far and haven’t jumped to the new blog, here it is again! thepracticalpantry.com
